Drinkin' For My Thinkin'

Drinkin’ For My Thinkin’

You know I am sitting in this corner, sippin cold beer from a glass,
Wondering about my future, reflecting on my past.

Don’t look like I’ll have her, like I used to from now on,
Everything that felt so right, wound up being wrong!

I am drinking for my thinking, I don’t want to know what’s on my mind,
Drinking keeps me from sinking, please fill my glass just one more time.

I wish I had my women back home holding me,
But the way I am drove her away so that can never be.
I’ll just come here every night so I won’t be alone,
Get so far out of my mind, I’ll forget she’s gone.

I am drinking for my thinking, I don’t want to know what’s on my mind,
Drinking keeps me from sinking, please fill my glass just one more time.
